02 - Painting

Painting is an ongoing negotiation between intention and discovery. I approach the canvas with ideas that often shift as color, texture, and gesture begin to take on a life of their own. Somewhere between planning and improvisation, I search for an image that feels just beyond my grasp— something that emerges through the act of painting rather than from a fully formed plan.
