“Where ideas take shape, questions unfold, and creative practice becomes a process of discovery.”
The Studio Journal is a space for the thoughts, observations, and experiments that shape my creative practice. Here, art history meets studio work, writing intersects with visual storytelling, and unfinished ideas have room to develop. From close readings of historical artworks to sketches, works-in-progress, and reflections on the creative process, each entry offers a glimpse into how I make sense of the world around me.
Through Art History: Looking Closely, I explore the details, contexts, and interpretations that give artworks meaning. In The Writer’s Desk, I explore language, narrative, and the ideas that find their way onto the page. Alongside these features are studio notes, visual studies, creative experiments, and reflections on projects as they evolve.
Not every idea begins with a clear direction, and not every process leads to a finished piece. This journal makes room for both the questions and the discoveries along the way—a place to document what I am learning, follow my curiosity, and explore the connections between art, writing, history, and design.
This is where the work unfolds, one observation, experiment, and idea at a time.
